Anonymous34Poster: Goddamn, why is Windows NT so fucking cute?! >.<

Anonymous1: Because it's not exactly NT..
This is Inu-T, she's loosely based on NT but it's a completely different character. And yes, she is more cute than NT.

This is NT:
>>76507
>>76279
>>12629

Now this is Inu-T:
>>76289
>>76307
>>76543

Seriously, is it really too much to ask to separate the tags for each of them and not just slap Windows_NT everywhere? *Sigh* In fact, the entire OS-Tan category needs a complete retagging and fixing. I'll try to fix what I can but there is just too much to do..

Anonymous2(1): Update 1.0.

- Fixed the Windows_NT section, individually tagged NT-tan and Inu-T.
- Fixed Windows_95 section.
- Fixed Windows_CE section.

The new tag system for OS-tan characters is now as follows:

OS-tan. This is the series tag.

2chan. This is the tag of the series origin.

Character Name tag. This is what people neglected to add as a tag in OS-tan series up until now. Windows_NT doesn't qualify as a character name because it only refers to Operating System portrayed by a character. In case of Windows_NT it is represented by characters Inu-T and NT-tan.

Operating System tag. This is the tag for OS represented by characters. Not to be confused with character name.

For future reference, here is a list of all Windows Operating Systems in the series and main characters that represent them:

Windows 3.1 - 3.1-tan

Windows NT - Inu-T, NT-tan (the differences are covered in the above post)

Windows 95 - 95-tan

Windows CE - CE-tan

Windows 98 - 98-tan

Windows 98SE - 98SE-tan

Windows ME - ME-tan

Windows 2000 - 2k-tan

Windows XP - XP-tan

Windows XP Home - Homeko

Windows Server

There are other characters who appear in the series less often, if necessary look up their names in OS-tan wiki: http://ostan-collections.net/wiki/Main_Page

Anonymous6(1): Update 4.0.

- Fixed Windows 98 section.
- Fixed Windows 98SE section.
- Fixed Windows 3.1 section.

And this is it. All the main OS-tan sections are now fixed and at this point about 80% of OS-tan images are tagged appropriately. There are still a few pages of OS-tan pictures left for revision, they're mainly comics. But generally, OS-tan is now brought to a respectable condition.

I would also like to thank Hydronix for partial fixing of tags in the entire category.
