traffik: Cculber007: Stop fucking with the tags. 'Batman_(Series)' is a legitimate tag. 'Batman' is used for pictures that Batman himself is actually IN, while 'Batman_(Series)' is for pics with ANY character in the Batman universe.
traffik: And, of course, now that I say that, I notice that they all seem to have disappeared. Wonder why? It makes sense to have that tag, for the same reason that they allow a 'kimberly_ann_possible' tag and a 'harry_james_potter' tag.
traffik: ^I may have spoke to soon, it might not be his fault. Even though the Tag History does show him modifying the tags once to "Batman" without the 'series' modifier, now the tag seems to have disappeared by itself-- i.e., the last person to modify the tags used 'series', but now it's gone anyway. So it looks like it's a site decision... although one that doesn't seem to make much sense.

It works the way it does because it was brought up in response to those two waifufags constantly screwing with the tags of their fictional SOs and not tagwars in general. (The Bleach Hiyori and Land before time's Cera)
I guess it makes sense though since Batman has so many characters that don't leap into the company's all-encompassing universe. You never see Clayface or Ivy during a Crisis, if anybody shows up it's always Joker or Catwoman.
