Anonymous10: Actually MK6.5 is a prototype/testbed version of Mk7 which is speculated to have been given to master chief but was called Mk6 by ONI to keep it a secret. It also explains master chiefs armour change in halo 4 as Mk6.5 is made of nano cells which can rearrange during cryo.

Anonymous15: Theoretical it is possible if they want to retcon the fuck out some stuff. There are cases where a spartan has gone into a "stasis" imidetly after sustaining wounds and being recovered and revieved. As I said though a retcon and maybe even a side story of some odst team(possibly the one from babysitter[i don't know when both those short stories take place])finds and recovers her.
