Anonymous7: Yeah, I think anon5 is right. It looks like a night elf, but I think the artist actually intended Sylvanas. Note the shoulderguards, they look just like Sylvanas's shoulders. Her facial tattoos also look like Sylvanas's, though they're more pronounced that her's. Plus... why would a worgen have a night elf tied up in an Alliance dungeon beside a tauren and a blood elf?

Sylvanas was a high elf. There were no blood elves during the time Sylvanas was alive - they only came to be after her death, as she died BEFORE the Sunwell was destroyed, and that act triggered the social movement that caused the blood elf/high elf split. When they originally put her in World of Warcraft, the female night elf model and animations were used for all elves, as the game as of yet lacked a high/blood elf model. Sylvanas APPEARED to be a night elf, because that was her placeholder model until she was given one based on the blood/high elf model later. She was never a blood elf, she was never a night elf. She is and will always be an undead high elf. *nerd glasses off*
