Daken: to anon 1. in Photoshop you go to edit> transform> flip vertical. its a common trick for artist to do. most of the time concept art you see is drawn on the opposite side from its final result. concept artist do this to find anything that looks off on the image or to see what composition works best.

Anonymous5: Pretty sure you mean horizontal, not vertical. And you could do it just as easily in MSPaint, or any other image editing software, for that matter.
