Anonymous2: Yes. The redheaded one's official name is Silver. The protagonist's official name is technically Ethan but everyone calls him Gold.

Anonymous3: In the manga which is called Porkyman Special in Japan and Porkyman Adventures outside of Japan his official name is Gold and the red haired one is Silver. In the anime he is called Jimmy and not Ethan for some reason.
