Anonymous1: This arrangement will only be necessary for the very first robots. As soon as they climb the mountain before the uncanny valley, the VR headsets will come off. I'd rather have a cool and sexy looking partner that clearly looks like a robot than a human-looking one sitting on the bottom of the uncanny valley.
Anonymous2: This is completely out of Character for Sheldon. He would never be attracted to anyone other than Jenny so it makes no sense why he would be wearing a VR headset here. Especially one that is projecting the fave of a completely different woman in front of his eyes when Jenny is right in front of him.
