DexxxtroDNA: Because it happened early on in the show, while he was a giant fluffy dog, and it's usually covered up by his voluminous clothing until for awhile he 'borrows' (ripped off and attached)another demon's arm, and I think it grew back, at least from what I remember of watching the anime at five in the morning on adult swim. ;)
