Anonymous10: The only mention of Giegue/Giygas having a gender I can remember was an NPC in Earthbound's Threed who says someting like "I heard Giygas might be a female. But I'm a con man."
It's probably unlike how humans define gender being an alien and all, and the Porkyman it was based off of is also genderless despite having male/female characteristics.
I think the only reason people think it's a female is Morphine's art and they just want to fap at it.
Anonymous11: Generally everything Anon 11 said is true except for one detail: Giegue/Giygas existed BEFORE the Porkyman you're referring to, Mewtwo. To further explain this, the Mother series was first released in 1989, the first game being the one depicting Giegue/Giygas with it's body and mind in tack. The launch of the Porkyman game series was in 1995/1996, about 6-7 years afterwards. So Mewtwo's design may be based on Giegue's/Giygas' original form, not the other way around.

Take a melody
Simple as can be
Give it some words
and sweet harmony
Raise your voices
All day long now
Love grows strong now
Sing a melody of love
of love

Love is theglory
Love is the beauty
and the joy of spring
Love is the magic
Love is the story
Love is the melody
We all can sing.

Giegue's gender is therefore unknown. Both male and female art exists.
