Bellend: Artist here. I put this up on DA to ask people which they preferred, left (more like cel-shading) or right (more like detailed rendering). It's not meant to be stereoscopic.
Anon4: I see what you're getting at - similar style - but there are lots of artists who render like this (albeit better - see Arne Niklas, Saejinoh, etc). No tracing involved - I eyeballed official art but that's really about it.
Tracey: The only thing that is bugging me are the reflections of her earrings. The Jade reflection just isn't working for me. Either style works though.
