As far as who posts a pic you do want to post, what difference does it make? Sure, the pics don't show up under your user id, but they are tagged with your name, which is how everyone finds you anyway. They search for "beerman", not "user_id=7681".

jubilation_t_cornpone: The only way to get around it is to post here FIRST. Then you will have the opposite problem of people posting it in OTHER places before you can.
You should be aware that there are a lot of mechanisms for being notified when new pics get posted in a particular place (wwoec thread, artist gallery, etc.). That's how people can get to them so fast. If it's something they really care about, they get an email or some other kind of immediate notification.
Beerman: JTC, first off I'm not upset with you, and secondly, thanks for being a fan to the point that you'd follow my wwoec forum thread. I was just in awe of the turnaround time that you posted this pic up here. I guess I'm guilty of listening to the trolls around here and was beginning to think the worst of meself.
You see the reason I joined here two years ago was to clean up a mess that the Beerman pseudonym was involved in. Others had posted my work and had tagged it as belonging to Col Kink, and vice versa, which dragged me into a flame war between the haters of Col Kink and his fans. Since then I've been trying to shed the guilty by association label and establish a reputation based solely on my own works. So I guess I'm a bit OCD when it comes to this place, it wasn't anything you did that was wrong.
Anonymous1: I think the reason the two of you got associated together was because he mentioned you by name in several of his pics. That's my recollection anyway. So that got people to thinking of the two names together. And Kink doesn't sign his work, so it's easy to see how his could be mistagged. You do sign, so I don't know how they could mistag yours unless people got to thinking you are both the same person or something.
