Anonymous2: why do genderbent anime chars tend to end in "ko" anyway?

Anonymous3: Does anyone else think its strange that the chick version of Naruto has her own tag. Shouldn't she just be counted under rule 63? I get that ninja centerfold is like Naruto's sighniture move, but still.

tehwalrus: Umm, Naruko and Naruto are the same person. Batgirl isn't Batman transformed into a chick, she's a series of seperate characters

Urbane_Guerrilla: Anon2, that is a Japanese-language thing. The -ko suffix means "child" and is roughly equivalent to putting -ie on an English name. The Japanese apply it to girl chilluns. Boys of somewhat more years may get suffixed -kun.
