Australia and New Zealand Santa wears a banana hammock and thongs(Flip flops) am I the only dude old enough to remember when flip flops were called thongs in the USA I wonder? Because believe it or not before the dental floss underwear took the name that is what we called flip flops too. But I haven't heard it used here in the US since the early 80's to describe footwear.
