Anonymous1: This was the original comic art, at a time when Archie comics were slightly more daring. In later reprints underwear was added. A number of other stories from the 70s are also censored when/if reprinted.
Anonymous2(1): Anonymous1 again, The plot includes Cheryl stealing a dress Veronica was making. While Veronica has a good sense of style she lacked ability as a seamstress and when Cheryl actually wore it the thing fell apart at a party.
