TherealRNO: Actually, Anonymous#3, YOU are fail, because in select episodes of the series--Nevermore, Car Trouble, Beast Within, Crash, Spellbound, GO, Hide and Seek, et al--Raven DOES smile. Hell (ironic 'cause her daddy is from the eight gate of it), Raven smiles REGULARLY in the comic source material that inspired the series and were she not fearful of sex (due to her being a byproduct of human-demon consensual rape), she and Beast Boy would've done it multiple times by now, since they've become a couple. After all, if Starfire got Robin--now Nightwing--to do her repeatedly in the comics and Terra willingly had underage sex with Slade out in the open in comic panels, Raven having sex with Beast Boy should be no surprise (especially since the feral form of the changeling could give the Mistress of Magic's demonic side a run for its money).
