The characters are Leaf and Dawn, both aged approx. 13 and 10 years old respectively.

Going by the games' timelines, D/P/Pl take place at the same time as G/S/C. Since G/S/C take place 3 years after Fr/Lg, this would place Leaf at about 13 years-old. This would also place Dawn at 10 since most (if not all) Porkyman trainers start their journey at the age of 10.

Anonymous14: Actually, Leaf is indeed her proper name. Blue is the a character in the Manga that shares the same name. While this is most definitely intended to be the game character.

And 13 and 10 is in fact their correct ages.
