An_Onymous: Y'know, while one can certainly make the argument that the addition of tits to female anthros with a non-mammalian base animal is just part of the anthropomorphization, just for the sake of variety I'd like to see some more that follow the base animal a bit more closely and thus have (delicious?) flat, nipple-less chests.
evilpika: There was a game (Soul Nomad) which dealt with that a little. There was a race of fish girls similar to zoras called neirids that all had flat chests because they were more hydrodynamic that way. This didn't stop their queen from inexplicably being a mermaid with a huge rack, but there was SOME realism at least.
tyciol: Indeed they are, I think this is intentional for the artist as a method of perspective. Evilpika: that's because the queen can just sit there and needs boobs to feed her young while the warriors need to be small and mobile. It's like bees.
