Anonymous2: Amy Rose, whom I am tired of, didn't pull that big hammer out of her backside. A fanfic of Mario suggests that she pulled it out of "hammerspace" a pocket in space toons use to store any tools they need at a moment's notice. It MAY be related to the ability of toons in an Animaniacs drama fanfic I read where Yakko Warner opens a "crease" in space to get into the Toon dimension.
