Anonymous4: sorry dude but that's basically what she is. In the early development of ff7 Nomura was asked to draw cloud as a female. He did and something that resembled lightning came out. They basically recycled that for lightnings character design. so in a nutshell, lu_Aza is correct. Lightning=female cloud
