Turning the demon that tried to tempt Buddha away from enlightenment into a giant, drooling penis with Avalokitesvara arms and a Bodhisattva-style halo is oddly fitting. Some of the hands in various Buddhist mudras while others are groping and fondling the girls adds a very taboo feeling of the mixture of sexuality and spirituality.
