It was quite noticable when she arched back to get into the space suit,at the end in the life boat.

Would be more reasonable that the company branded their employees, setting this picture at the end of part one.
Anonymous7: I'm no Alien aficionado or anything, but I find it hard to believe that Ripley ever wore any intricate earring like that. It just looks "off" considering her character.
