Anonymous2: there is a back story. The want it need it spell makes everypony who sees the pony or thing it's cast on want it more than life itself. Twilight (purple pony getting banged by the brown colt) cast it on her doll to create a friendship problem for her to fix so she had something to report to her teacher. Other ponies got affected, riot broke out, Twilight's teacher had to fix it and a lesson was learned about being an over achiever.
