Milady: Finished product. Higher quality and stuff. Serious question guys, what does makes rule34 fanart hot? Is it the fact you know the character, or is it important for the character to keep the main artstyle alive? Or should it be more realistic? Lemme know.
Nymousano: Well, IMO it´s the on-model stuff. Smurfette, for instance, looks really hot in her original design, like in >>162210 and 162216. Both images are editions of real existing references. Something like >>2222150 instead - where is this Smurfette, despise that she´s blue, blonde and wearing a smurf hat?
btw, I do know about Bob´s Burgers i. e. - but I could never fap to any of the characters. They´re just looking ugly.
Milady: That's interesting. Where is the line for you though? Where it becomes generic porn instead of rule34 fanart? If I take https://rule34.paheal.net/post/view/2143140 for example. That's a bit inbetween. Clearly still very much Smurfette but with a bit more realistic proportions that make her sensually appealing to look at.
Nymousano: Well, it depends. It doesn´t have to be necessarily on-model. If the look´s appealing and you can recognize the original character, I´m okay. Example: >>2333326 Judy Hopps with human-like proportions, but clearly Judy (and cute). >>2333326 instead is a cartoon character pretending to be Smurfette in my books, but there´s nothing where you can recognize Smurfette as herself. I don´t like her breasts in >>2143140 , but I still acknowledge* her as Smurfette.
* if that´s the right term; as a German I sometimes have to use https://www.dict.cc or something similar. ^^;
Anonymous2: For me it's mostly knowing the character. Same reason nude pics of your neighbor or coworker are way more exciting than porn of some random stranger. The feeling of them actually being the character I know is definitely stronger if they're on model though.
