Come on! That is an Illithid, a Challenge Rating 8 critter before you stack on levels of Sorcerer (or Psion, if you use Psionics rules). In order for him to be as worried as he seems to be, she must be a VERY high level cleric of Lolth.
Then again, if he is willing working for the Drow (without some secret plan to subvert them later on), then he must be on the outs with his home community/Elder Brain, and they have promised to protect him in return for his service.

A drow girl can be witch magic user illusionist cleric antipaladin summoner or any of a number of other classes like dark druid or even a warrior with magic weapons etc etc. Palladium prg 1st edition for the win with elric n cthulhu stuff added and tunnel n trolls stuff too and hek throw in lone wolf and fighting fantasy steve jacskon! Haven't seen a minotaur for a spell.
