Anonymous11: The new serie(2012), is bad animated and only a cheap try to earn money. The storyline sux badly and doesnt even go strict with the true storyline.
Its a shame they even made that serie. If they wanted to make them more teeny they should have make a stroyline before Shreder, April,...(April was never a childhoodfriend from the turles) The whole serie sux and i hope it will be over soon, its like eye cancer.
For Venus: She was added a bit strange in the storyline thats why she is not popular, but if he hated her he should hate the new serie 100 times more.
For Mona lisa: i think she was ok (i heard first she should have been a turtle but git changed in a lizard) and she should have been longer in the serie than only 1 episode. I heard there was a purpose to add her in later season (8th) but then the whole idea got replaced trough a different one.
And if they were bright they just made TMNT: The new Generation
So they could have made the mutant children of the TMNT in age of teenys. Adventuring, learning from them parents ninja skills. While fighting against the "new danger" they slowly discover the past story how they parents meet and how all become like they are now.

Haven't seen the new show but scenes seemed OK to me. But I was really confused by teenage April. I'm with Anon 11 that they should have made childhood adventures (without April, maybe with another teen human).

Rowling had retroactively made Dumbledore gay just to score extra brownie points with the LGBT community and gay people came out against her for doing it for the reasons, being lazy and trying to score points. Especially when nothing mentioned in the books or movies ever implied he was gay. Had he been written like that and dropped hits of his sexuality, that would make more sense. It wouldn't be the character that changed but only your perception of that character.
I'm not against gay people but at the same time, a character shouldn't be made gay JUST to fill a quota. It makes for piss poor story telling. The Ninja Turtles were already awesome. They don't need token stereotypes to stay awesome. Now all this talk about gays is killing my boner. I'ma get back to lewding cartoon girls.
