Dragon Ball was for the boys and Sailor Moon for the girls.
With these kind o'crossovers bring back memories and as an adult some realise the sexuality of these two animes and finds it awesome and not childhood ruining. :)
O_Rly: Basically what's already been said. They both aired around the same time on Toonami, which DBZ being the go-to show for boys and Sailor Moon for girls. Given that and the fact that both shows were popular among western audiences, it really shouldn't come as a surprise at all.
O_Rly: ^Heh, nah. That's just what happens years later when porn artists look back on the shows and pick out all the same-sex relationships that could be twisted into being perverted.
