Anonymous1: Correct me if I'm horribly wrong but Mewtwo being female is pretty much canon now right? It's being voiced by a woman now, plus the personality is more feminine. Mewtwo's just missing tits and genitals now but still has the child bearing hips.
Anonymous2: Pikachu was voiced by a female since ever and female shape have nothing to do with anything.
Machoke can be female, gardevoir can be male, etc.
Unless most legendaries suddenly start breeding, its safe to assume they will remain canonly genderless.
